Palmetto Industrial Services, Inc. (“Palmetto”) was organized in 1995 to further meet the needs of the customer base of a prominent construction company in the Midlands of South Carolina. Palmetto has specialized in the niche business of Hydrobalsting and Industrial Vacuuming along with other related peripheral services. In 2002, Allen Overton, a top performing sales person in the Palmetto organization purchased the company from the original owners. Mr. Overton along with a few other original employees of Palmetto now manage the company as one of the most successful business ventures in South Carolina.
Over the years Palmetto has garnered the reputation of providing high quality services as quickly as possible. Palmetto is known in the marketplace for being the most efficient service provider for the particular services it provides.
Palmetto has grown in size and experience with the most dramatic growth occurring since 2008. Palmetto now employs around 100 persons with locations in the Midlands (Gaston, SC), the Low Country (Moncks Corner, SC) and the Tarheel region (Charlotte/Metro). The Tarheel region was established in 2010 when Palmetto acquired Southeast Hydroblasting, Inc. (Southeast). Southeast operates as a wholly owned subsidiary organized in the state of North Carolina.
